Boat Show Season 2017

Coming Up

Owning a yacht almost always leaves you wanting another. It is contagious and many are bitten by the 3 footitis around this time of year. After summer many realise that the kids are bigger and the crew needs more space. It is time to start planning which boat shows to visit.

Open Yard - Orust, Sweden25-27th of August.

One of our favourites of course. It is the largest sailboat show in Scandinavia. There will be a large number of exhibitors for boats and accessories. There will be more sailing yachts at Open Yard 2017 than ever before. Boats from at least nine different nations will be exhibited. Some of the exhibitors that have signed up for 2017 are X-Yachts, Najad, Linjett, Regina, Faurby, Hallberg-Rassy, Haber, J/Boats, CR Yachts, MF boat, Moody, Discovery, Delphia, Sirius, Finn Flyer, Nauticat, Maxi Yachts, Sweden Yachts and others. There will be several premieres. Read more here.

Marstrand Boat Show - Marstrand, Sweden. 25-27th of August

Marstrand Boat Show is from 2017 arranged by Sweboat – the Swedish Marine Industries Federation.

The Boat Show is expected to draw approximately 20 000 visitors. There will be more than 220 sailboats and motorboats on display accompanied by more than 65 exhibitors of accessories and equipment. All strictly marine related.

Uiva Flytande Boat Show. Helsinki, Finland. 17-20th of August.

A treat for boating enthusiasts coming to Finland: over 250 boats, mostly motor boats, on display at the 2017 Helsinki Boat-Afloat Show. They also feature more marine and onshore activities than ever before. And they have added a whole new theme, fishing!  Read more here.

Stockholm All At Sea. Stockholm, Sweden. 1-3rd of September.

Not much information on the website, unfortunately. Some info can be found here.

Southampton Boat Show, Southampton, UK. 15-24th of September.

Not in the Nordics, but it is so good that it deserves a mention anyway. An important sales platform for both national and international businesses attracting over 110,000 visitors.
